The Ministry of Education and Skills Development (MoESD) and the VTOB Foundation have signed an updated agreement to roll out DigiGyel: Building AI-Ready Youth and Schools in Bhutan (2026–2028)! Over the next three years, this project will transform technology education in 500 primary and secondary schools across all Dzongkhags and Thromdes. What's coming to our schools? * 👩‍🏫 Teacher Upskilling: 500 teachers will be trained in foundational AI, ethical usage, and classroom integration. * 💻 Essential Hardware: 810 laptops distributed to support digital learning. * 🚀 Student Innovation: 500 AI Clubs, pilot Dariu Tech Clubs™️, student boot camps, and an estimated 2,500 student projects! * 🏆 National AI Expo: A national showcase in 2028 highlighting student achievements. * 🤝 Impact: Over 100,000 students will gain critical, practical, and ethical AI skills by 2028!
