Digital Literacy Initiative (DLI) Coding Competition 2025 (Class III-VIII) The VTOB Foundation is pleased to announce the results of the Digital Literacy Initiative (DLI) Coding Competition 2025 endorsed by The Ministry of Education and Skills Development (MoESD) , an inspiring journey of creativity, problem-solving, and digital learning among students from Classes III–VIII. The competition was held under two categories — Primary (ScratchJr & Scratch) and Secondary (Micro:bits & Python Turtle) giving students hands-on experience in block coding and computational thinking. Before the final round, 47 out of 60 DLI schools submitted their projects across the four platforms, documenting their learning journeys and innovative ideas. The first round of evaluation on September 28, 2025 shortlisted 15 primary and 10 secondary schools, which advanced to the final virtual presentation on November 2, 2025. During the finals, students showcased their coding projects before an evaluation panel, demonstrating how digital skills can be used to solve real-world problems and express creativity. The DLI Coding Competition 2025 was organized in collaboration with the VTOB Foundation, under the Digital Literacy Initiative supported by The Dariu Foundation and Regula and BEAT Curti Foundation. Since its launch in 2022, the DLI programme has been implemented in 68 schools across 20 Dzongkhags and 4 Thromdes, reaching thousands of learners.
